Head to Time Out Market for lunch. Loads to choose from, so grab whatever looks good and maybe a drink while you’re at it.

Port tasting in Gaia
Walk across the Dom Luís I Bridge into Gaia and pick one of the port houses for a tasting. You are in Porto after all.

Sunset drinks at Porto Cruz
Stay on the Gaia side and head to Porto Cruz for a rooftop drink and a great view back across the river.

Dinner at Mariscar
Back into Porto for dinner at Mariscar. They only take bookings over the phone, so make sure you call ahead. Get the bacalhau.

Breakfast at Majestic Café
Start with breakfast at Majestic Café, a Porto institution and a very nice way to start the day.

Mercado do Bolhão
Have a wander around Mercado do Bolhão, check out the fresh food stalls and stop for a €2 glass of wine.

Francesinha at Yuko Tavern
Head to Yuko Tavern for lunch and order a francesinha.

Tram to Foz
Jump on the tram out to Foz and spend the afternoon by the beach. Have a wander, go for a swim or just find somewhere to sit in the sun.

Seafood at Meia-Nau
Head a little further along to Matosinhos for dinner at Meia-Nau. Go for the traditional Portuguese fish and seafood and order whatever looks good that day.

Sunset at Praia da Luz
Make your way back towards Foz and stop at Praia da Luz for a sunset drink overlooking the Atlantic.

Last one at Bosco
Back into Porto for a final drink (or drinks) at Bosco overlooking the city.
